About Gwen Verdon
A Broadway icon for her superlative vocal and dancing abilities, Gwen Verdon was widely acclaimed as the best dancer on Broadway between the 1950s to the 1960s. She has appeared in seven stage productions including Damn Yankees, which featured Whatever Lola Wants, and Chicago, in which Gwen Verdon made the classic rendition of Roxie.
