Deriving their name from forming on Valentine’s Day 1977, American rock band The Romantics have continued to tour and record new material for over thirty years. The early 1980s saw The Romantics at the peak of their popularity scoring US Billboard hits such as What I Like About You and Talking in Your Sleep, which topped the Billboard’s dance chart in 1983.
