Held by many as a musical genius, Ray Charles changed the sound of contemporary music introducing a soulful style to the charts. His first singles, It Should Have Been Me and Mess around were both hits in the US but it was I Got A Woman that reached the top end of the Billboard chart and brought Ray Charles to a national audience where he stayed right up to his final days in 2004.
