About Glenn Miller
Glenn Miller was a widely celebrated jazz musician and big band leader who was easily one of the biggest selling wartime artists between 1939 and 1942. He made a string of singles his own signature recordings that would be recognised around the world and include Pennsylvania 6-5000, Moonlight Serenade and String of Pearls. Glenn Miller was at the height of his popularity when in 1944 he disappeared while en route to France to entertain the troops and not a trace of him has been discovered to this day.
