About Scissor Sisters
Having formed in New York in 2001, the Scissor Sisters stuggled to achieve much significant mainstream success in the States. Their reception in the UK and Europe, however, is an entirely different story. Laura, their second single, was a huge hit in the UK and it was this success that springboarded the Scissor Sisters to international fame. They continued to release hit singles such as Take Your Mama and Filthy/Gorgeous and quickly became festival favourites for their flamboyant live shows.
