Latest Plug-in is crashing Firefox

Hi there , i just noticed today that there was an update available .10 version i think , anyway i was prompted to install it - even though im pretty sure i was already running the .10 version as im sure thats the one i requested last week to remove old recordings etc .

Hi Gav, sorry to hear you've got problems. Can you confirm you are using Firefox 3.5.9? If you are could you try upgrading to Firefox 3.6.3 and let me know if that makes any difference. |

ok .....pretty random but everything seems to be working ok now ! I was trying all of my downloaded tracks on record , and they were all crashing firefox but only after the mix was saved - then.....i tried recording a track i hadn't actually uploaded into the app yet.....this worked and didnt crash atall , so i tried my other tracks which were originaly crashing , but this time round they didnt crash ! ? so "seems" that this problem has been fixed by uploading a song that i hadnt tried to record yet......but i shall let u guys know if anything "randomly" stops working again hehe thanks for your reading time ! |

hi again, ive had more persistence in crashing again today and yesterday , it just seems to happen out if the blue , but then sometimes i wont have any problems for a few hours. As its stands .....i have firefox 3.6.3
The crashing itself only happens after ive save a mix of a recording and then play it back. These happenings have only been in effect from when the latest update for the app was released but not immediately after downloading it. Never had this issue to begin with. So ive run out of ideas now , plz help ! cheers Gav |

any updates on this ? its crashing every time i record now and i would like to enter the stage competiton before the deadline! regards. |

right .....fingers crossed i may have nailed this on the head. I noticed in internet explorer that my flash player wasnt working even though i have it installed .So then i thought ....well what if the app is crashing because of a registry error? so i downloaded RegTool for windows and gave my PC a proper clean up - and whadya know?.....no crashes .....touch wood.....umm well my beds made of metal as is my bedroom furniture and i currently dont have an erection so....touch plastic. (apologies for my crude sense of humour there hehe) Thanks for your time! |
