I have downloaded the tracks and I am experimenting the settings for recording.
I have these problems, can you give me some advices?
1) the laptop connected to internet has Vista system and there is no way to listen to the microphone signal in the headphones so I am playing near the guitar amplifier in order to listen to it while listening to the track in the headphones. Any help?
2) I am currently using "Windows Audio" in the audio settings, but even with low values of buffer size I listen to latency in my guitar recording in the "track/user" window. If I press "save" will my guitar sound out of sync?
3) I have a Tascam usb external soundcard (ASIO drivers, very low latency) that I have on another computer I use for homerecording (not connected to internet)...so if I install the tascam on the laptop I think I won't have latency...can you confirm this ?

Well, problems resolved.
I have installed my Tascam US122L external interface and the recordings have no (=very low) latency, I use the microphone inputs and I can select the mix between the backing tracks (computer) and my guitar signal (input).
If I didn't have the interface it would be very difficult to record !

Hi Angelo, just one more thing, you can record a track as many times as you like, so don't worry about hitting 'Save' - you will be able to record the track again if it doesn't sound right! Remember to enter your recording, you must click the 'Share It' button :)
