Recording out of sync on mac

Hi- my recordings end up out of sync with the backing track by the time it's got about halfway through. I'm using Safari 5.0 with MacOS Leopard 10.5.8, 2.33 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo (MacBook Pro) with 2 GB RAM.....Any ideas? |

Hi Shan, can you try recording with your MacBook Pro plugged into the mains (and the mains power switched on) please? Also, make sure all other programs are off and not running in the background. Let me know if that helps, kindest, Aimee |

Hi Aimee, the MacBook is always plugged into the mains, and no other programs are running when I get this problem (which is on every recording attempt). Is there an optimal audio buffer size that should be set in the advanced audio settings I could try? Regards, Shan |
