Video Competition!
The PureSolo Video Competition! (A warm up for something big...)
- Use PureSolo's video function to show the world what a fantastic musical performer you are!
How to Enter:
- Download either Glee Cast's Don't Stop Believin', Michael Jackson's Billie Jean or Black Eyed Peas' I Gotta Feelin' (99p each).
- Make sure your computer's web cam is switched on.
- Make sure video recording is enabled in the PureSolo Recorder - you'll know if it's on because you'll be able to see yourself in the corner of the screen!
- Have fun! Sing your heart out and deliver your performance with a flourish!
- Hit the 'Share It' button to submit your entry.
Judging:
- The winner and runner up will be chosen by the PureSolo Team, based on skill and performance!
- We are looking for vibrant performances that will put a smile on our faces! Don't be afraid to use props, get your friends involved and have a lot of fun with it.
First Prize
- 25 credits to spend at PureSolo.
Second Prize
- 10 credits to spend at PureSolo.
Rules
PLEASE NOTE VERY CAREFULLY THAT THESE CONTEST RULES ARE SPECIFIC TO THIS CONTEST (AND NO OTHER CONTEST). IN ADDITION, YOU MUST ALSO CAREFULLY READ ALL OF PURESOLO'S TERMS AND CONDITIONS INCLUDING THE SECTION ON CONTESTS. THOSE TERMS AND COMPETITIONS (TOGETHER WITH THESE CONTEST RULES) GOVERN THE RULES OF THIS COMPETITION (AND OTHER MATTERS CONCERNING PURESOLO'S WEBSITE, YOUR USE OF IT AND YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THIS COMPETITION.
- The competition is run by PureSolo Limited (the organisers).
- Entrants to the competition must be individuals aged over 16 (proof of age will be required) within UK and European territories (not open in the USA and other territories due to licensing restrictions).
- In order to enter the competition, individuals must register and be signed in to the PureSolo website.
- Entries are by upload of video(using the 'Share It' button) of the entrants own recording of their voice onto the eligible track. The eligible track costs £0.99 and can be re-recorded an infinite number of times once purchased.
- Only video recordings are eligible for this competition.
- Entries will be accepted between 30th July 2010 at 16:30 GMT and 20th August 2010 at 18:00 GMT.
- All shared video recordings (using the 'Share It' button) of the eligible track will be automatically entered into the competition (subject to territory licensing) as well as being displayed on your profile.If users enter audio only, the entry will not be eligible for the competition.
- Entrants can submit multiple competition entries of the eligible track but, in the case of multiple versions of the same song being entered, votes cannot be transferred from one entry to another. An excessive level of multiple entries may lead to disqualification if the organisers deem it necessary.
- PureSolo employees may submit an entry to the competition, but are not eligible to win.
- The winner and runner up will be chosen by the PureSolo Team based on skill and performance.
- The prize is non-transferrable, changeable, or refundable and no cash alternative will be offered.
- Competitions are not open to PureSolo employees, or employees of its affiliated companies and subsidiaries, nor to any sponsors of the contest, or the immediate families of such employees or sponsors.
- By submitting an entry to any Competition, you grant PureSolo the right to use your name and likeness for advertising and publicity purposes without additional compensation and you agree to participate in any reasonable promotional activities requested by PureSolo.
- Entrants who do not comply fully with the requirements for Competition winners as outlined above, may be disqualified as a winner and an alternative winner may be selected.
- Competition winners are solely responsible for all insurance, applicable taxes and for any expenses not specified in the prize description.
- Competition winners will be notified by email and winner and runner up notified by 31st August 2010.
- The organisers are not responsible for undelivered emails.

Display methodology:
Uploaded tracks will be displayed on the competition pages in the following categories:
- Recent Entries – as they are uploaded.
- All Entries – these are sorted and re-sorted on a random basis to ensure fair representation of all entries.
